Flat Flashings

Hi, I own a rental property. It is a classic sixties two-story house, with two identical flats one on the ground floor and one on the top. The flashings in the middle of the house are in need of repair, the metal has rusted in spots and after we received a recent builders report it seems they are affecting the water tightness of the building. I have only owned the property for a few years so are not sure if they have been replaced before but it seems like they might have been done badly, a bit of a botched job. As there are tenants in the property I'm wanting some on that can do the job promptly and properly.
