Garage - block wall waterproofing

My garage is 6m square with concrete block walls. on 2 sides the sides are under ground and when we get a lot of rain we get moisture seeping through. I have heard of products that penetrate the concrete to make it permanently waterproof which I would prefer to a paint on solution but have not found anyone that uses it
