Waterproofing Patio Cover to Wall Join

I got a Trade Tested aluminum patio cover installed recently and after the rain we had overnight, i noticed some slight water drops underneath the cladding below where the cover joins onto the wall. Just note, this was installed on vertical Axon panels as we couldn't get it to go onto the brick. We used sealant, too. Seems it may need either flashing to be installed or for the cover join to be lowered so that it's anchored into the brick rather than the axon panels.
