Waterproof floor

I'm converting a basement to a bedroom and want to waterproof the floor. It's an avge to small sized bedroom (approx 3mx3m) & it doesn't have any obvious damp problems other than it being a little musty smelling but the concrete floor is a pretty unlevel porous surface which needs levelling before carpet & u'lay & it does have some marks on it which may be watermarks I'm not sure. I'm also replacing the existing ranch slider with new joinery with passive venting & have installed insulation so have ventilation & insulation covered but I'm keen to waterproof/damp proof the concrete floor (before or after levelling??) before the u'lay goes down so a rough estimate based on this size & the pics it would be good if you can help thanks.
