I have sent my old clawfoot bath to be resurfaced and discovered that there is damp under the vinyl floor and walls behind the bath. There is a gap where the floor meets the walls and there it is also damp in the space there. I need a professional to sort out where the water may be entering and then replace any flooring or walls that may be affected with suitable products to waterproof it. I am taking the opportunity to replace the flooring while the bath is out. I may need to tile the walls and floor. It is a small bathroom.
