Leaky window frame - jib starting to fray and deteriorate. 2

I think I have a leak underneath an aluminium sliding window in my hall - the window itself is fine, but I think the waterproofing around the frame of the window may have been compromised, as water has affected the jib underneath the window sill. Window dimensions approx 900mm x 800mm.
