We are seeking a quote for investigation and repair of a water ingress issue in our bathroom shower.
There is a crack beneath a shower floor tile near the wall. When the shower floods, water escapes through this point and travels under the adjoining wall into a bedroom wardrobe, causing water pooling on the wardrobe floor. We have covered the hole with tape for now.
We had a tiler come in to advise possibly entering via the wardrobe-side wall to:
• Confirm the source of the leak
• Inspect the wall cavity for any moisture or water damage
• Determine whether the wall cavity and framing are sound or require attention
Please provide a quote that includes:
• Opening the wardrobe-side wall for inspection
• Assessment of the condition behind the wall (including any visible moisture or water damage)
• Repair or replacement of the shower waterproofing system as required, including removal and reinstatement of affected tiles only
• Reinstatement of the opened wall, including re‑gibbing and stopping to a paint‑ready finish
If any damage behind the wall is identified:
• Please report on the condition and recommended action
• Do not proceed with additional remedial or structural works without our prior approval and an agreed variation quote
We are not seeking upgrades or broader renovations only confirmation of condition, necessary waterproofing repairs, and making good of the wall.
Please clearly outline:
• What is included in your quoted scope
• Any exclusions (e.g. painting or builder involvement if structural repairs are required)
• Any assumptions made in pricing

"Koro was really refreshing. I had a prior timer come in a pretty much tell him I had to rip my tiles costing me thousands. Koro listened to me and told me the immediate fix (short term) at the very least is to rip the silicon and redo it. I have plans to renovate so this is really cost effective and saves me thousands. Thank you for being so on to it and not taking advantage of people with work that may not need to be done. That’s so rare these days."
