Leak finder and fixer

I have a leak into a room which is below a fibre coated deck. There is a small wall at the end of the deck which is above the leak. I'm thinking a couple of pieces of marine ply put ove existing weatherboard on this wall might sort it. It leaks in a Southerly storm but not an easterly.
