Replace the old clay pipe drain passing from the driveway to lower level. Connection point is within the bank - the pipe below was replaced 4 years ago and this connection dug out then. The garage down pipe joins this drain, this will need revision. When the drain this joins to above the house was replaced 4 years ago this drain had a camera and 2 attempts to clear it 4 years ago - both unsuccessful, too many roots. They were unable to identify the join with the garage downpipes. Obviously the drain pipe should have been replaced at this time but wasn't - unfortunately I was only told about the inability to rescue it after the other job had been completed. Photos show: Grate on the driveway, there is a clay pipe below and an opening which is partially blocked - this is the drain box but so small it is pretty useless to clean out and the grate gets blocked easily The concreted pipe on the side of the driveway (partially exposed) and the downpipe from the garage coming into the garden The access point and drain box on the level next to the house with the bank - it is about 2.5 - 3m from the concreted pipe to the edge of the garden The connection is where you would expect in the garden - was dug out and there is gravel in here
