Hi, Here is the job: To Lay down 8m long drainage channels along the house external walls using this: TDX Drainage Channel & Grate - H 132mm x L 1000mm The ground is sand based paving. Requires to connect to one of the two drainage down pipes or gullies shown in the photos. There are two corners along 8m channels. It will require to lower at least one stone thick of ground level along the house wall between the channels and the walls as the paving ground level is two high. Job is labor only. I will supply all materials. Job is in Johnsonville Wellington. Thank you.

"The original job description required to set the channel 1 stone thick lower than the surface. But the builder did not notice this and had not achieved the requirement. $1000 extra had imposed to the client because of that. Also builder did not expect to finish the job with concrete around the channel and asked client to add cost for concrete. Because of that as other quote had firstly identified that concrete was needed to secure the channel in the ground and so the finish surface."

"Client wanted channel drain 40-50mm lower than pavers. I had explained to him that this would not work as it was way too low and would conflict with reinstatement of pavers and look silly. Client ignored our solutions and wanted us to proceed with his way. Client saw it was too deep and didnt work. He asked us to change it and do it our way, therefore adding on an extra day and materials to break out concrete and redo also adding on extra concrete instead of pavers as discussed and quoted"
