Dryer ventilation

I would like the dryer in my laundry vented externally. Currently there is a hole but I cannot identify an exit so I assume it is not vented correctly and have removed the dryer from this location. The laundry is in an internal access garage which backs into a hill on the back wall and another wall is attached to another house. The laundry is located in the corner of the back wall and shared wall. The nearest accessible external walls are approx 7m away.
