Install outlet switch and replace rangehood ducting

Hi there,

This job is to improve and tidy up a temporary placement of the rangehood ducting ventilation in our apartment kitchen and install an outlet switch for the rangehood.

Tasks to be done:
- Install a new outlet switch for the rangehood
- Replace the current round ducting from the rangehood with rectangular ducting.

Current state
We installed a rangehood in the kitchen, currently its powered by an extention cord so installing a new switch is necessary. Our electrical switchboard is up-to-date.

The current ducting is typical black round ducting connecting the rangehood to outside outlet. The ceiling in our apartment is CONCRETE so the ducting will always show. Current round ducting is zip-tied to the ceiling, this doesn't look good and is not a good enough permanent solution. We did this during covid lockdown.

The kitchen room is over 3m long and there is plumbing in the wall so we need to have a 90 degree down at the end of the room, followed by 90 degree right into the elbow.

Ceiling is CONCRETE so we need to mount directly to the ceiling and expose the ducting.

We would like to have a handyman install rectangular ducting:
