Job description

Rangehoods Miramar, Wellington

Published on 8th July 2025

Looking to get a ceiling-mounted kitchen extractor fan installed (see example in second photo). This is to help remove steam, moisture, and cooking odours — not a rangehood. I have good roof space above and timber ceiling (see first photo for current setup). Fan would be ducted to the roof or soffit — happy to take advice on best ducting route and product recommendation. Electrical work and switch installation will be needed as part of the job. Please include: • Fan recommendation (quiet, reliable, decent airflow) • Cost estimate (labour + materials) • Availability for site visit and install Located in Miramar, Wellington.

"Blown away by Dallas! He was meant to just do my kitchen fan but ended up doing everything—rewire, new switchboard, EV conduit, deck lights, heat pump, cameras, power points & more. What I loved most was his attitude: no negativity, just solutions. Nothing was too hard. Polite, talented, reasonable pricing. Exactly the tradie you want—he’s on my speed dial now!"
