Rangehood / Extractor fan supply and installation

I am looking to get a rangehood or a ceiling extractor fan installed in my kitchen. The stove top is not against a wall, so needs to be ceiling mounted. The roof is steel with a low angle of pitch, so I'm guessing the venting would have to be through roof, although via the soffit might work too. There is currently a light fitting where this would likely be placed, this isn't required so the wiring could potentially be repurposed. The fan/rangehood would need to have integrated lighting.
