I need some help with 150mm kitchen extractor vent cowl install. I already have the cowl, and aluminium flexible ducting, so the job is mostly labour (with some masonry sealant for cowling install etc). Essentially:
- Drill suitable diameter hole through brick wall cladding.
- Similar, drill through gib (NOTE - there is nothing obstructing between gib & brick cladding - I did the gib lining myself, so know its clear)
- Install external cowl vent (with suitable sealant)
External wall location would need a extendible high reach Gorrila ladder or similar to access. Our landing is a half floor down from kitchen where vent is located...
