Install ventilation system

Hi there, I'm looking to install a full ventilation system (HRV?) in a small house (two double bedrooms, one large open plan living area and one bathroom). Single floor with roof insulation. The main purpose is for ventilation, keeping the place dry however, would be even better if the system is capable of heat transfer (there is a heat pump in the lounge) without a huge amount of additional money. Thanks!
