Splashback (oven)

Hi, I have a gas standalone oven plus tongue and groove walls. I am after advice and someone to tile the walls where the oven is and maybe extend the splashback wider of oven along the bench. I have been told I need gib on the walls prior to tiles being installed. I am hopeful I can have someone to install gib and do the tiles as one job? Area: - From door frame & along cabinetry/bench only | Width: 1720mm x Height: 480mm - Under Range hood only | Width: 530mm x Height: 250mm Photos attached of kitchen/oven area plus of the tiles I am thinking.

Great communication, helped confirm ideas, offered examples, timing to complete was as expected, the splash-back looked amazing even before the grouting. Cleaned up debris. Very happy with the outcome, looks amazing.
