tiling of hearth

We would like to have the hearth in front of the fire place re-tiled - see photos. The job is to remove the old tiles and the skirting board and tile the front and top of the hearth including into the shelving area. The tile shown sitting in front of the hearth is one of the new tiles - 600x300mm. The hearth is --- W - but the width of the area under the shelving is 580mm.
