KITCHEN SPLASHBACK TILING

Supply and fix tiling to form a splashback above the bench in the kitchen at our home at 210 Port Street East, Feilding. Details are as follows: The attached plans shows the sizes and locations of tiling areas required (Walls A, B and C). Supply GO950 Marfill Brillo tiles, size 200mm x 100mm and all sealer, adhesive, pointing and silicone. Tile colour white . Tiles are available from from Mitre10 mega and retail for $80 per sq metre. Allow to prepare the existing painted gib board wall surface above the bench top and apply sealer. Allow to use temporary spacers to ensure all joints are even and exact. Glue tiles to the walls in horizontal stretcher pattern as detailed on the plans. Where required cut tiles cleanly and exact. Allow to use temporary spacers to ensure all joints between tiles are even. Supply and fit plain aluminium edge angle sized to exactly match finished thickness of tiles, to all exposed edges. Ensure corners are perfectly mitred. Allow to release switches and power outlets, cut tiles neatly around holes, and once pointed, re-fit switches and power outlets against the finished tile surfaces. Finish tiled area with white pointing and white silicone along junction of tiles and bench top. Allow to clean up and remove debris at the end of the job.
