Back splash/ Feature wall
Job description
We would like a quote to tile the entire wall, as per photos, above the kitchen bench. This is a new build. Taking into account the kitchen cabinetry, window and range hood, there is very close to 5 sq mtrs of tiling to be done. One of the photos shows small Mexican tiles, which 2 rows of these with white grouting to frame the window. The balance is to be done in the sheets of copper coloured tiles, per photo, with black grouting. One of the photos shows an outline around the rangehood, which the kitchen installer has drawn so that the copper tiles just need to cover that perimeter. As I work for Placemakers, we will supply white and black grout for the job. To help keep costs down, we can offer accommodation and meals onsite if required. Start date to be confirmed, possibly 11th November and finish 15th November. This is to ensure that the granite bench top has been installed. The tiler must be an approved LBP as the LBP number is required for the Council Code of Compliance.

We are EXTREMELY happy with Peter and his work, and cost, and communications - if he happened to not answer his cell phone because he was busy, he called back very soon after - that is very important to us. Peter is a genuinely nice guy, his workmanship was absolutely superb - and quick, and cost was more than reasonable - we are more than happy in all respects, and if we ever have another tiling job, he will be the man we call.
