In Dec 2015, I had a new pool heating system installed consisting of 4 glass solar panels (thermo-siphon?), attached to a 300L Rheem Hot water cylinder on the roof, and cycled through a separate timed circulating pump. Our pool is saltwater, close to 50,000L. However, my pool temps (with a thermal blanket on too) are poor ... all summer we only hit 29 degrees twice, while it mainly hovered around 27 degrees, despite very hot days. Today its only 24.5 degrees, which is too cool for our enjoyment. I need a solar pool heating expert to look at our new system and advise me on 'tweaks' or minor amendments needed to maintain temps close to 28-29 degrees all summer and into autumn. I'm seeking pool use for 7-8 months per year. So, I am prepared to pay an expert to review and advise on our existing system. I do not want to completely remove the existing for a whole new system, after having already spent close to $10k, with disappointing results.
