Pool leak repair with internal bracing

Hi there. Our old fibreglass pool needs a leak repair and will require internal bracing before it's drained. The leak is most likely in the corner from an old stop valve (?) that looks to have been repaired at an earlier time. We don't know if the pool has loose stone beneath it or concrete hence the need to brace before being drained.
