Remote Quantity Surveyor – Brick & Block Take-Offs (NZ)

Job Type: Remote / Freelance / Hourly About Us: We are a well-established bricklaying and block laying company with over 30 years in the New Zealand construction industry. We are actively seeking a reliable, detail-oriented remote Quantity Surveyor to assist with tender pricing and take-offs for residential and commercial projects. Scope of Work: • Measure and quantify brick veneer, cladding, and blockwork from supplied drawings (PDF/DWG) • Prepare full BOQs or take-off schedules • Assist in pricing tenders using New Zealand-based rates (we can provide rate sheets) • Deliver take-offs in Excel, PDF, or your preferred format • Attend online meetings as needed Requirements: • Experience in masonry-specific take-offs • Software: Bluebeam, CostX, Planswift, or similar • Good command of English • Able to work to tight deadlines with high accuracy • Must provide hourly rate in NZD/USD and sample work How to Apply: Please include: • Your hourly rate • At least 1–2 samples of previous take-offs (preferably block/brick) • Your software/tools used • Availability and time zone Contact: Kellie GORILLA MASONRY LTD Email: --- Mobile: + ---
