Hi. Can you help me out with a small project. I want to use steel framing for homes I have built but I'm unsure if it's an architect or an engineer I require for the builder's plans. I think it's only structural specifications I need help with so it may only be a civil engineer or structural engineer I need. I already have the final design drawings completed. Do you know of a competent well-priced contact, please. I'm in Auckland but Wellington is ok.I've sent the latest drawing & what other drawings are needed to start the build.I also have CAD drawings.Do you foresee any problems having these fully constructed in China with walls lined & services complete to NZ standards. etc.The manufacturer sends many complete buildings to NZ so I think so long as the plans are drawn up correctly & photos taken at stages adhering to the plans & NZ compliant, we should be ok. They also structurally design the buildings.I'll be building the complete 4 bedroom home with 4x modules for this project, but will also be supplying the individual modules for purchase at a later date, thus building it in modules that have multi build compliance.My plans have already been copied & shipped to NZ so I'm not too secretive about it now.
