We are building 2 carports, 1 will come off the house and measures 9mx4m, this will have a clearlite roof to allow light into the house. The second carport will sit beside the one attached to the house (1m between them) and will measure 9mx3m, this will have a coloursteel maxx roof. We have a retired builder that will be doing the work for us, but under the RMA, due to the size, we need a Chartered Professional Engineer to do the design. We ask that the design is done in conjunction with the builder (who is really easy to work with!) as he is aware of what we are wanting and he will be doing the building work so it just makes sense :-). I will require a quote for doing the design work and confirmation that you meet the requirements under the RMA to complete the design work. Many thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!
