I'm looking to buy a property in Invercargill which has two dwellings on a 739m2 section. I would be interested in a "quick assessment" (if such a thing is possible) into the chances and cost involved in subdividing this title. I know it is less than the minimum standard of 800m2, but an administrator at the ICC said I could apply for resource consent and it might get approved. I don't want to do the subdivision right now, I just would like to know what my chances might be and it could be possible at all.
