I am wanting a geotech & wastewater engineers report on a property of 800sqm in the Claris Retail Area which I wish to purchase on Great Barrier Island , I wish to either 1) use the land for parking and/or extend the retail premises (currently 48sqm) or 2) Build an extra dwelling of around 100sqm 2bedroom+office/kitchen/lounge on the site. (no consent exists at present for dwelling) Currently the site is in the wetland area and the retail building (existing) is about 1 meter higher than the rest of the site (which is about 100mm above the water table). I am aware that wastewater would need to be treated and dispersed on the section, and the existing septic tank would not be up to the current standard (I'm told) I need a quote to achieve either scenario 1) or 2) I need to know how to build up the land level to comply with standards applicable in each case and costings involved.(I can get Overburden locally free + cost of $110/9cubic m load freight) I am aware a resource consent is needed for either scenario
