Repair of dampness on foundation wall

Following is the report from building inspection— supporting timber posts, timber sub floor construction i.e. pine bearers/bottom plate, joists and particle board flooring, hardware and bracing checked. Concrete block used as retaining under sub floor area. Type of waterproofing and drainage used behind walls is not known and could not be sighted. Please verify on plans in Council Property Folder. Evidence of water ingress on blocks across left side of foundation, additional waterproofing and drainage is required i.e. a field drain to redirect Overland water flow away from foundation area and a waterproof membrane installed on outside of concrete block foundation. Further evidence of water flowing from clay bank under left side of foundation, additional support, waterproofing and drainage is required i.e. clay bank area is wet and has subsided slightly alongside and behind wall of garage, requires further investigation from a structural engineer or similar. Refer to drainage comments. Concrete footings supporting concrete block, housing concrete floor foundations noted in garage and closed in carport areas. Timber mid floor between upper and lower storey, Pine joists, beams, particle board flooring - hidden detail, not sighted. Due to nature of insulation and installation, flooring under sub floor area was partially inspected. Insulation under sub floor noted, (Blanket type). I also recommend laying Polythene over sub floor soil due to proximity of ground level to prevent rising dampness. Good ventilation - standing approx 600mm-1800mm above finished ground level. Flooring level throughout property was recorded with a laser level at an acceptable level. Apart from this it may need concrete the area and drainage lines to prevent water entry
