Hi, I recently purchased a property in Mairehau which has a Council creek running through the front of the property. There is a concrete bridge across the creek for access to our property, which would have been built in the 1950s when the house was built (see images attached) - I am trying to get this insured. AMI Insurance have asked for an Engineer to provide the following: We would need something in writing from an engineer to confirm the condition of the bridge, no outstanding maintenance, no outstanding remedial work and or Earthquake damage and it is essentially ‘fit for purpose’ We do not require a ‘full’ engineers report we just require something in writing from an engineer – it can be as simple and straight forward as an email from the engineer whom had inspected the bridge. Is there someone interested in quoting this work please? Kind Regards Judy
