Property survey for residential development/future subdivision

Kia ora, We are looking at developing our family property (around 700m sq) and need a detailed survey so that we may begin the planning process. After boundary, topographical and geological features, details of waste/stormwater locations, and any other applicable features that will help with our project. It is a long, rectangular site on a slight gradient, and the land falls away somewhat towards the back. There is one existing building with a single garage that is below ground level. This is our first construction project so we would appreciate assurance from experienced professionals who can explain their reports in simple terms, and will provide sufficient information for planning, design and consent.
