I have a deck that has a car port underneath it. i really want to put a big outdoor fireplace off it. It would be off the side of the deck, and from the ground to the side of the deck would be about a 1.5 meter drop that will need to be built up with a foundation capable of holding the weight of an outdoor concrete fireplace. it will be a tricky job as there is a retaining wall close to where the foundation for the fireplace will be.
