Lifitng stone basin back onto pedestal and gluing together.

Job description

New Stonework
North Shore

Hello Mr Tradie, I am a parishioner at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church (located a 2A Albert Road Devonport, North Shore). We are undertaking minor work, inside the church building. It's a fairly small job, should take about 30 minutes max (will pay for a full hour if that's the standard). Essentially basic labouring - in fact lifting, over a very short distance, followed by small applications of selleys filler and plaster to cover joins. While being a gym fit guy myself - do require that other spare set of (strong) hands / muscle power to help safely move and re-assemble a stone Baptismal Font (just the top part). This Font, which separates into three pieces, has already been moved to it's new location inside the church and just requires the final part of re-assembly. The base and central support column are now in place and cemented / locked togther, waiting for the stone basin / top part to go back on in place, - and be adhered with a stone glue. Literally lifting it about 1.5 metres across to the pedestal base. The top part is reasonably heavy and needs two people to safely execute. I wil be on site myself to assist. After this has been completed, - followed by a small amount of plastering / filling, which I could do by myself, - but the main job is lifting the top part, back into positron. Isn't lifted high, with the base platform and pedestal (total) height assembled is only 600mm from the floor. I have all the materials already on hand (stone glue resin, filler, drop sheets and other tools etc) - just need the extra help. Bit of a rush job as we need to get this done by Friday of this week (7 September), - had previously arranged another tradie, but they has to cancel. Looking to do this work at 2.00pm on Friday the 7th. Will settle bill on the day. Regards Shaun
