Stairs need repairing

Just before Christmas one of our steps leading to our upstairs area broke while my partner was walking down them, the step had completely come off the wall. Rung insurance and they said to get a builder to assess the damage but was unable to find someone due to the timing, was told they would get back to me but no one has. In the meantime another step has broken again when my partner was walking up them and it feels like a third step is about to break as well. These are our main entrance into our house. So desperately needing to repair as soon as possible.
