Outdoor balustrade up concrete stairs

We have a set of concrete stairs leading up to our front door to our early 1960s home in Johnsonville, Wellington. There is currently no handrail / balustrade for the stairs although it looks like there originally was one. We would like a metal handrail / balustrade installed for safety (positioned on the outside i.e. to prevent a fall off the stairs). We've attached an indicative before and after image showing what we have in mind.
