Build Timber Staircase Down Hillside to Backyard

We have no access to our backyard except through our home. We would like to add in a timber staircase with railings down the side of our home to provide access. We have already cleared trees and shrubs blocking the path. There is a small timber fence intersecting the pathway that would need to be partially removed.
