Element constantly sterilising

We have a Senztek solar hot water system. The element usually sterilizes the tank once a week, however for the last 3 days it has been constantly sterilising. It is keeping the water at around 62 degrees. We are not sure why it keeps sterilising as there doesn't appear to be a fault (no warning lights etc).
