Hi all. I am looking for a price on a solar system for my home. I have worked in the Solar industry so I know what I want, easy as right? Colour steel roof. East west array required, only two arrays. As It's east West, with about a 25 degree pitch, I'm confident a 5kW inverter will be safe for the long term. Single phase. Timer for water cylinder. If possible, a new meter installed to switch to a night rate!! I have almost zero shading, but on the east side get a small vertical shade in the mornings from a very tall palm tree, one tigos/optimisers per two stacked panels would be Ideal. Inverter within 3 metres of switchboard. DC cables are about 10-15 metres from inverter through a huge cavity. Roof access is safe as half the House is single level. Considering a system with tigos on one side or a solar Edge system with full optimisers. Site visits prior to quote are welcome, but as above - it's a simple job!
