Checking solar system is working properly

We are having no joy with our solar installer in getting the system checked to make sure it is set up properly, it looks like even when the battery is at 100% and the panels are producing 5kwh and tje house is only using 0.5, the grid is still being drawn on . The meter has been checked and is functioning as it should
