Solar installer wanted for a residential job in Lower Hutt.
Panels, inverter, smart meter and all mounting equipment will be supplied by the owner.
Your scope:
- Install 20x JA Solar 450w panels on decromastic tin tile roof, as per the attached layout (panels to be installed landscape)
- Install Goodwe 6kW 1ph EH inverter and energy meter.
- Arrange and pay for electrical inspection.
About the site:
- Roof is metal decramastic tile. Not asbestos.
- Our switchboard is new, has spare slots and is near the meter. Single phase.
- Inverter can be hung on exterior wall beside meter.
- Access is flat along sealed driveway.
- Roof is single story.
Timing for the job is April/May.

"Very happy with this solar install, which included 24 panels, hybrid inverter, and all the full project management (incl. Council approval). Sam has obvious done a lot of solar work; he visited site and was able to quickly able to design the panel layout, work out our wiring, and explain the various regulations. Sam's a good operator: he picked up the phone when I called, showed up on the days he said he would, and stuck to the price we agreed. Two of my friends have also used him for solar."
