Attach large awning to house

We have a large (4m long) retractible awning to be mounted on the side of a modern (< 10 years old) home with linearboard siding. I suspect that it will need 2-3 perople on ladders or trestles - however we can provide some assistance with this given 1-2 days' notice. Photos to come.
