RESET Security Code in alarm system

Hi, just bought a house with an existing alarm system but the keypad code wasn't handed over to us. The old owner says that it has been too long since they armed it that they've forgotten the code already. Now we need it reset to be able to use it. It only says micron on the keypad unit.
