Check wiring of alarm

Beep in roof. Power series alarm.no faults on control panel.want someone to check wiring of alarm in roof. Started last year sharp beep, .checked smoke alarm, not that.one off beeps,now more of doink sound than sharp beep. Had someone replace battery ,no change. Does it every few hours. Just annoying. Maybe broken wire? Would need to arrange time off work, have dog but can put him in bathroom when person arrives. Thanks.
