Connect DSC system to 3G or Fibre

I have an existing DSC home alarm system that works well. It's connected to a landline for self-monitoring. I'd like to move this to a fibre or mobile connection. Needs an additional board (which we do not have) and install/programming. I've had one price for this which was very high. Looking for comparisons to see if this is the true cost of the job. Ready to proceed immediately with the right person!
