Metal roof ridge joins leaking plus other

I have had a leak in my roof for a couple of years it only causes a leak when the rain is very heavy and forces in. I had a roofer looking to do the job but he unfortunately doesn't know how to continue to communicate and seems to have disappeared seems common in Whangarei with tradies. Unfortunately I don't have the photos he took. I also don't live in Whangarei I am at the house sporadically. It's a small job and doesn't need scaffolding. The other small job is on the garage where they for some reason don't extend the iron roofing far enough over the edge of the building so I need an extra strip of iron put in place.
