Re-roofing with apron flashing (Solution for cladding)

Re-roof lower rear house roof using .55 Dimond Corrugate Colorsteel Endura and to install new apron flashings under cladding of top section of the house. However, because the upper cladding is 1970's fiber boards and battens (non-asbestos) the cladding may be brittle. Solutions on how to reroof without having to re -cladded the side of the house wanted. Job may require a builder and roofer.
