Ridge flashing repair

Hi I have a need for someone to either apply a small patch or Solder up a crack that has been detected on the ridge flashing of my corrogated iron roof the crack goes from side to side. It may be easier to place a short ofcut length of std ridge flashing over the offending split with new fasteners to hold the new and existing flashing. In the process of having roof cleaned and painted anyway. I live in Eskdale Road Birkdale
