Leak caused by downpipe

We have a gutter downpipe that sits between the interior lining & the weatherboard at the top of the wall. It’s leaking through the window frame underneath it, so assume it is cracked or similar. Would like it replaced AND depending on cost, to see if it’s possible to reroute it entirely to avoid this. It will require removal of some exterior panels to investigate. URGENT as is leaking in the house.
