Replace roof sheathing paper

Hi , the metal tile profile roof is 26 years old , good condition can't see any leaks , but the black sheathing paper is brittle and loose , when wind gets in it's very noisy , in gusts .. if it's possible to do we would like this replaced .. does anyone have experience in this if it's actually possible to do .. thanks , there's plenty of room on space also to move around and lighting
