Job description
To start in October. First floor deck is in need of maintenance. Some seams need cutting out and filling. Paint that is on the substrate now will need removing. There is an area about 2 square metres that is soft, so the damage beneath that will need to be rebuilt. About 42 square meres of Traffigard decking will need to be recovered - possibly by paintable bitumen sheets but open to suggestions. Easy access through a bedroom double door french window. The deck is surrounded by a metal balustrade so no need for scaffolding. (Several sheets of marine ply used for temporary rain protection are in the photos.) Secondary job: replacing some soffit and fascia. If you can do that while you're here, great but if you just want to do the roof, no problem.

Hamish arrived to quote when he said he would, provided a very competitive price and did the work ahead of time. There was an unscheduled increase in price for remedial work but again, it was a very reasonable price. Communication was consistently ahead of the game - no chasing required. Clean up was good. As far as I can tell, the workmanship is good but the only true test is whether or not the roof leaks over the next ten years. I would definitely use Sticks and Stones again.
