Our small bach needs replacement guttering, downpipes to the water tank, and sunroof. Both damaged by falling trees recently. We also need the roof sealed (under the eaves) to prevent rats accessing the roof cavity.

Kawau Island Bach Re-roof

Bach on Kawau Island is 75sm, 2bedroom Lockwood home. The tin roof is now 25 years old and showing some rust in random places. We are interested in quotes at this stage. While the job is being done the bach can be used as accommodation. Transport of the material/tools is obviously a big factor, probably barge but we have contacts for this. section of spouting needs replacing, 10 years old, on windy side so needs extra brackets.... about 6 mtrs spouting and brackets say every 300mm ...access easy, all work done on roof as it's on a second level level...we have ladder.... also perhaps install a leaf catcher (or similar) system.

Remove and replace the existing 2m x 2.6m flat roof asbestos membrane with new. Chrysotile (white) asbestos was detected in the existing membrane by Dowdell and Associated Ltd - April 2009. We have recently bought a house on Waiheke Island. We would like a deck designed and built on a sloping section, 2nd story, with two levels and of approx 30sqm. Part of the upper deck needs to be covered and lower level uncovered, steps down to the garden, and including bi-fold doors. We would like this job started asap and completed before summer. Roof repairs are required (replacement of flashings). The property is located on Waiheke Island. We have an internal leak that is getting worse. We have had some of the screws in the roof replaced as we were advised that this may have been the cause of the leak and we are in a high wind zone (whereby some of the screws lifted).
